Watch I Prevail's New Video For DOA, Featuring Rapper Joyner Lucas
I Prevail and Joyner Lucas have teamed up for a powerful new video that speaks to the world we're living in right now.
Michigan metalcore crew I Prevail have unveiled a brand-new video for DOA, taken from last year's Trauma album.
The song features GRAMMY-nominated rapper Joyner Lucas, with both artists performing amid some pretty graphic and distressing scenes in the video as they address many issues that are going on in America right now.
Even more hard-hitting are Joyner's lyrics of, 'But the internet will kill me quicker than the streets will / And if that shit doesn't kill me, then the police will,' and Eric Vanlerberghe's scream of, 'I can't breathe,' following the horrific death of George Floyd on Monday night.
"So proud of this video," says vocalist Brian Burkheiser. "I hope it can spark change and open a larger discussion."
