Over the weekend Green Day played six songs in New York as part of the GMA Summer Concert Series – check out the performance and their TV interview…
With the epic North American leg of their Saviors Tour kicking off very shortly (like, literally tonight), Green Day hit New York over the weekend for a little TV warm-up show…
The band headed to Rumsey Playfield as part of Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series, where they were interviewed about their latest album Saviors and this impending tour, as well as performing six tracks.
Via setlist.fm, the trio opened with classic single Basket Case, before celebrating all things Saviors with an awesome one-two of Dilemma and Look Ma, No Brains!. Then, they tore into American Idiot and Holiday, before closing with another Saviors favourite: Bobby Sox.
After the set, they posted some pics and joked on social media that, “The early bird may get the worm but we got to rock out this morning on GMA!!”
