Watch: Go Inside The Making Of Bring Me The Horizon's Post Human: Survival Horror EP
Bring Me The Horizon have shared a new mini documentary all about their latest release, Post Human: Survival Horror.
Fresh from the release of their brilliant Post Human: Survival Horror EP, Bring Me The Horizon are taking fans inside the creation of the record with a new 13-minute studio documentary.
As well as sharing some cool footage from the making of each of the songs that make up the nine-track EP, the band members go into plenty of detail about all things Post Human, with Oli Sykes explaining that work began on it "a couple of weeks into lockdown".
"We kind of realised that this is the way our lives are going to be for the next few months," he says, revealing at first they were just planning on "messing around" on new material, without anything really in mind. Then, as the pandemic continued, the band began to figure out how to properly work remotely on new music, and Post Human started to take shape.

"I think the way we did it made so much sense," the frontman later continues in the video, "because the world's changing every day and I wanted the record to be reflective of that. Most of our albums have been deeply personal, and they've always been about kind of shit I was going through – whether it was a divorce or drug addiction or something, it always seemed to be something that I had to kind of vent and kind of get out. And this is the first record where it's talking about something that's bigger than myself."
"I like how Oli's talking a lot more about things that are current," adds Jordan Fish. "It's not really pandemic-related – a lot of it's more the way that this whole time period feels. I feel like it's reflected quite nicely in the kind of stories he's telling."
