Cancel your plans this weekend, because twenty one pilots will be celebrating 10 years of their brilliant breakthrough album Vessel with a special variety stream.
With twenty one pilots’ incredible 2013 breakthrough album Vessel turning 10 years old this Sunday (yes, we’re all very old), the band have announced a special ‘variety’ stream to celebrate the anniversary.
Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have confirmed that on Sunday, January 8 at 3pm EST (which is 8pm GMT) they’ll be hosting a big online celebration for the record – during which, the frontman says in the below video, they will “show some behind-the-scenes videos, some old photos, play some songs”.
Tyler also sneakily teases a 10th anniversary vinyl edition of Vessel which will drop at the same time as the stream, and you can get a glimpse at now…
The stream will be taking place on YouTube below:
In other news, Tyler recently confirmed the end of twenty one pilots’ Scaled And Icy era.
“I want to thank our crew, who took us around the world during one of the toughest eras of touring ever,” he said. “this past album cycle has meant so much to me. and you, you resilient bunch of my favorite people, you brought this to life and continue to support it. you have given me purpose, humility, and pride. you guys have given me so much. thank you.”
