Tool Fan Asks Eddie Van Halen To Take His Picture – Without Realising It's Eddie Van Halen
Rather than asking for a selfie, this fan wanted Eddie Van Halen to take his photo for him at Tool's recent LA show. Oops.
Don't you hate it when you're a super-famous rock star just trying to enjoy a night out watching Tool and you're being bombarded by fans for photos?
Well, that's sort of what happened to Eddie Van Halen at Los Angeles' Staples Center earlier in the week… only the fan in question didn't actually realise who he'd asked to snap the pic.
Eddie's son Wolfgang tweeted about the hilarious blunder, revealing that a Tool fan had wandered up to the guitar legend and asked if Eddie could take a photo of him at the concert – and he was completely oblivious to the identity of the photographer. "A guy asked my dad if he could take a picture of him with the stage behind him, having no idea who he just asked," Wolfgang said. "That was my favourite moment from the Tool show last night.”
Brilliant.
Wolfgang then later posted that, “Tool was phenomenal as always last night,” which is definitely more believable than someone not recognising Eddie…
