Tool Announce 2020 U.S. Tour Dates

Tool have expanded their U.S. tour into 2020.

Given how hard Tool's 2019 album Fear Inoculum hit when it landed back in August, one would assume the band would be touring the world for the next fifty years -- the album was such a smash hit that even the interludes thereon cracked Billboard's Top 25. So it's unsurprising -- if totally awesome -- that the band have announced even more U.S. tour dates, to kick off in early 2020.

READ THIS: Tool nearly burned down their studio while recording Fear Inoculum

Fear Inoculum was surrounded by a level of mystery and misinformation the likes of which most rock bands will never experience. The result was the band's rabid fanbase chomping harder and harder at the bit with every shred of a rumor that was released -- something that Tool drummer Danny Carey understands from his own youth.

“I understand that curiosity — it’s what drove me,” said Danny in the second episode of our podcast Inside Track. “It drove me mad not being able to know more about Pink Floyd when I was a little kid. But that’s the great thing — there was this mystery behind it, and we couldn’t find out enough. It made your mind work, it made you seek after it or try to interpret it. It made you envision or imagine what they were doing."
