Tommy Vext parts ways with Bad Wolves

Bad Wolves have officially parted ways with vocalist Tommy Vext.

The singer's departure was confirmed in a message on the band's social media, signed by remaining members John Boecklin, Doc Coyle, Chris Cain and Kyle Konkiel.

"It is true that Bad Wolves and vocalist Tommy Vext have parted ways," begins the statement. "The four of us plan to continue making music and a new album is planned for later this year. Tommy has been a big part of Bad Wolves and we are grateful for his contributions.

"There is not much else to report at the moment but to send love and gratitude to the fans who have supported Bad Wolves from day one. We would not be here without you."

There has been no further comment from the band or Tommy himself on the reasons behind his split from Bad Wolves, although in recent Instagram posts he has alluded to writing new music – a song called What America Meant to Me – and shared a cover Post Malone's Hollywood Bleeding, so don't expect him to be moving away from music.
