From North Of No South to Machines, here's what Biffy Clyro played when they headlined Reading & Leeds festival
This weekend, Biffy Clyro headlined Reading & Leeds festivals for a third time, after topping the bill in 2013 and 2016.
Replacing original headliners Queens Of The Stone Age at rather late notice due to ongoing issues and restrictions, the Scottish trio were more than capable of bringing the August Bank Holiday institution to a close in spectacular fashion.
For most if not all in attendance, this was the first time anyone had seen Biffy perform any of the new tracks from their 5K-rated album A Celebration Of Endings. And the set certainly wasn't short of a new banger or two, opening on North Of No South, but also packing Instant History, Tiny Indoor Fireworks and the sublime Cop Syrup.
While almost half of the 16 song set was dedicated to their 2020 LP, Biffy's return to headliner status saw them belt out hits from across their career, including Wolves Of Winter, Biblical and set-closer Machines.
