The New Lindemann Album – Featuring Rammstein's Till Lindemann – Is "Done"

The follow-up to Lindemann's 2015 album Skills In Pills is complete.

According to one half of the industrial metal super-duo, a brand-new Lindemann album is "done".

The band – completed by Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann and Hypocrisy/Pain founder Peter Tägtgren – released their debut record Skills In Pills back in 2015, and now it looks like its follow-up is on the way.

Posting on Facebook, Peter very casually wrote, "Btw, Lindemann new album is done, produced and mixed by yours truly…"

While it's not yet known when the record will arrive, Rammstein have a pretty big break from touring now until their huge European run in 2020, which will include some of their biggest headline shows ever – from the Cardiff date at the Principality Stadium on June 14, to Belfast’s Boucher Road Playing Field in Northern Ireland on June 17, and the Ricoh Arena in Coventry three days later. These UK shows are sandwiched in between a whole load of huge arena and stadium dates throughout Europe, running from May 25 in Austria, to August 4 in Denmark.

So surely there's plenty of time between now and May to drop the new Lindemann record? Let's hope so.

Anyway, check out Peter's post below:

Kerrang! recently spoke to Rammstein’s lighting designer Roland Griel to talk about what goes into such an epic live show. He told us that around 400 people work on the setting up, taking down, transporting, operation, maintenance, feeding, management, and blowing up of each and every gig.

There’s even a second team on hand to start work at the following venue, getting ready to set up and build the stage. Bonkers.

“Going into stadiums, you can only bring in about 10 trucks at a time, so you have to make sure you bring in the right one at the right time for what it’s got in it, that there are enough people around,” says Roland. “I think they’ve got the load out down to four and a half hours now. Then they get in the trucks and drive 500km to the next show. Then they load all the pyro and lights, which takes about eight hours. Repeat that until the tour is over!”
