The Interrupters announce only UK headline show of 2024

The Interrupters have announced their only UK headline show of 2024.
Following a triumphant pair of shows at Slam Dunk Festival this weekend – which we described as “certainly a decisive victory” – the band will be back here in a couple of months’ time for a one-off date.
The four-piece are set to headline London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on July 1, with support coming from Rhoda Dakar and a Josh Skints DJ set.
And Aimee Interrupter will surely be extra-happy about that, telling us in 2022 that Rhoda is one of her biggest heroes.
“Being the leader of the first all-female two-tone ska band is more than enough to make her a hero of mine, but my love for Rhoda Dakar extends even beyond that,” Aimee enthused. “As a performer, I am hypnotised by her magnetic energy and the way she commands the stage. I’ve watched her performance in the movie Dance Craze more times than I can count. Her voice is beautiful and strong, and when you get to the core of her lyrics, you hear powerful messages of justice and equality.”
