The Gaslight Anthem have already recorded more new music
Following 2023’s long-awaited comeback album History Books, The Gaslight Anthem have revealed they’ve been in the studio and have “some extra stuff coming at ya soon!”
After a nine-year wait for 2023 album History Books, The Gaslight Anthem have revealed that they’ve already been back in the studio working on more new music.
Ahead of the band’s UK and European headline run next month, TGA seemingly snuck in a quick stop at Studio G Brooklyn with producer Butch Walker – who previously worked with frontman Brian Fallon for his 2016 debut solo album Painkillers.
Though it’s probably not another full record just yet, the band have said they’ve got “some extra stuff” on the way, with Emily Wolfe and Karina Rykman having helped out on vocals for “a couple of tunes”.
Speaking to Kerrang! late last year about more material to follow History Books, Brian said, “I always have ideas going, and there’s little stuff here and there. I’m sure we’ll start to make new stuff soon. We always do – we’re always moving around and making music. It’s just what we do!”
