Aussie metalcore mob The Amity Affliction have released their first new music since last year's Misery album in the form of new single All My Friends Are Dead.
And if the new single is anything their next record, it's going to be heavyyyy.
Speaking about last year's Misery album and the direction Amity are going in, vocalist Joel Birch says their 2018 record was a breath of fresh air for the band.

“Our whole career, we’ve always felt that we’ve had to prove ourselves. We’ve had to prove we tour enough, that we’re good enough, and we’ve never been given a handout," says Joel. "We’ve never really been supported by other bands taking us on big tours to help us get bigger. With this record we’re standing here and stating here we are.”.
For the band's next full-length, they have signed to Pure Noise, home to such bands as Knocked Loose, State Champs and The Story So Far.
“We are excited as all hell to be on Pure Noise, where the roster is amazing, and Jake is still running the label independently, and with a strong ethos,” says Joel. “We can’t wait to see what the future holds; this shit is tight, thank you for your support, thank you Pure Noise, and thanks again to everyone out there who makes this dream of playing music worldwide our reality.”
Amity have also recruited Defeater drummer Joe Longobardi to replace Ryan Burt who departed last year.
The band return to the UK next year for a five-date tour – get your tickets now.
