The All-American Rejects have cancelled their appearances at this weekend’s When We Were Young.
Ahead of the nostalgia mega-fest at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on October 19 and 20 – which is headlined by My Chemical Romance playing The Black Parade in full, and Fall Out Boy presumably just doing brilliant Fall Out Boy things – AAR have pulled out due to “a management change within the WWWY operation”, with the festival allegedly unable to accommodate the band “in the previously agreed upon line-up”.

“It is with deep sadness and disappointment that we have to announce that we will no longer be playing When We Were Young next weekend.
“We have spent months tirelessly preparing a once in a lifetime show that we were so excited to bring you. However, there has been a management change within the WWWY operation, and they are no longer able to accommodate us in the previously agreed upon line-up, which has made it impossible for us to continue.
“We are especially devastated to not get to play for those of you who are travelling across the globe to witness the visual and sonic spectacle we have been brewing up in our cauldron. We’d like to apologise to our amazing crew who have been working around the clock to make magic happen.”
