Tenacious D have just released their first original song since 2018
Tenacious D have unveiled their first original song since 2018’s Post-Apocalypto album, and they’ve teamed up with Adam Paloian and Chris ‘Oney’ O’Neill for the accompanying music video.
Fresh from his appearance as Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Jack Black is staying very much on topic with the release of the first new Tenacious D single in five years.
Jack and his bandmate Kyle Gass have unveiled brand-new tune Video Games, plus an accompanying video by Adam Paloian and Chris ‘Oney’ O’Neill.
“It’s about growing up and leaving childish things behind, but then realising that video games are more than just mindless toys,” reveal the duo of their first original song since 2018’s Post-Apocalypto album. “In fact, they can be a true expression of huge ideas that belong in the pantheon of great works of art!
“It’s about time someone defended the honour and integrity of this bold new horizon. Leave it to the greatest band in the world… Tenacious D!”
