System Of A Down: Here's the massive setlist from the band's first gig back
System Of A Down debuted recent(ish) singles Genocidal Humanoidz and Protect The Land, as well as playing a whole load of Toxicity, at their first show since 2019…
System Of A Down returned to the stage for the first time since May 2019 on Friday, hitting Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena with Korn (who replaced Faith No More) and Russian Circles.
And the nu-metal legends more than made up for lost time with a massive career-spanning set, giving live debuts to 2020 singles Protect The Land and Genocidal Humanoidz (their first new music in 15 years), while also throwing things back 20 years and celebrating the milestone anniversary of Toxicity – in fact, SOAD only left out three songs from that record in the setlist: Jet Pilot, Forest and Shimmy.
Elsewhere Serj Tankian and co. also surprised fans in attendance with some discography rarities, and of course all the usual bangers on other albums like B.Y.O.B. and Sugar.

Earlier in the year the frontman said of the potential of more new System music: "The future is unseen. We will see what happens. The vibe is very positive. As long as we’re on the same page, we can continue doing stuff, if we’re on the same page."
