Svalbard announce UK tour, release new video for Silent Restraint
Svalbard drop a new fan-filled video for Silent Restraint alongside nine UK tour dates for later in the year
Svalbard have announced details of a nine-date UK tour for the tail-end of 2021, culminating in a hometown show at The Exchange in Bristol.
The post-blackened hardcore crew released their 4K-rated When I Die, Will I Get Better? album in September last year, which was rated #8 in our Greatest Albums Of 2020 list.
"We're so excited to be able to finally announce some UK headline dates for When I Die, Will I Get Better?," guitarist Liam Phelan tells Kerrang!. "We can't wait to play these new songs live and get back to touring!"
This November trek across the UK will be the first time Svalbard have performed any of the new album for fans, following up a socially-distanced no-audience K! Pit at the end of 2020.

To mark the tour announcement, the Bristol metallers have released a new video for Silent Restraint, featuring a ton of fans – reminiscent of Feeder's iconic Just A Day video.
"Whilst putting these clips together I realised that, to me, this video represents positivity and togetherness in a time when we've never been further apart," says Liam.
"The juxtaposition between the lyrics to the song and the clips that we were sent are a perfect metaphor for the situation we currently all find ourselves in. Thanks to everyone who contributed. I had a lot of fun putting it together."
Catch Svalbard at one of the shows below later this year. Tickets go on sale Monday March 22.
