Rouge Carpet Disaster: The Video Game is an exclusive release on Game Boy Color, that Static Dress frontman Olli Appleyard says was a “project which was around three years of work”.
Forever doing things in their own incredibly unique way, Static Dress have just announced an actual videogame.
The band will be releasing Rouge Carpet Disaster: The Video Game on March 7 exclusively via Game Boy Color – a project that frontman Olli Appleyard shared was “around three years of work”.
According to a press release, the multi-level game is a ‘fully playable final exploration of the complex visual lore’ around their debut album Rouge Carpet Disaster, and it leaves ‘no question unanswered’ for those who want to dive in deep.
It’ll also feature Rouge Carpet Disaster playing in the background in 8-bit form, which makes the whole thing even more brilliant.
