Sophie Lloyd upgrades venue for her first-ever headline show
After putting a date at the Camden Assembly on sale, Sophie Lloyd has already had to move her debut headliner to a bigger venue just down the road…
Sophie Lloyd has revealed that, for her debut headline show, she’ll be playing London’s 500-capacity Underworld later this year!
The guitarist had originally put on sale a date at the Camden Assembly for October 17, but after selling it out within five minutes earlier today (June 7), she’ll now be moving down the road to accommodate even more fans.
“I can’t believe I’m finally announcing my first official live headline show, it seems like such a long time coming,” she says. “It’s funny because my anxiety and hesitancy to play live was what really inspired the creation of [my debut album Imposter Syndrome] – the title-track in particular.
“We put so much work and love into Imposter Syndrome and we’re so excited to finally take the next step in our musical journey and bring that to the stage so people can experience it in person with a full live band. It was so incredible to see the response to the album and sometimes I still have to pinch myself as I can’t believe we actually managed to pull it off!”
