Slipknot Postpone U.S. Tour, Knotfest UK And Knotfest At Sea
Slipknot have postponed all summer touring activity due to ongoing circumstances
Slipknot have postponed their upcoming Knotfest Roadshow tour of the United States as well as the inaugural Knotfest UK and Knotfest At Sea cruise – both due to take place this August.
"Unfortunately Slipknot’s summer 2020 touring, including the North American Knotfest Roadshow, Knotfest UK and Knotfest at Sea, will not be happening," reads a statement from Slipknot posted on social media.
"The band looks forward to performing for its fans again, and will do so when everyone’s safety can be assured.
"All ticket holders will be emailed directly with refund options, Knotfest At Sea purchasers will be contacted with postponement information."
Slipknot were scheduled to hold the first ever Knotfest UK this August in Milton Keynes Bowl, just days after their Knotfest At Sea cruise (again, another world first) off the coast of Barcelona.
The month-long Knotfest Roadshow tour in the United States was scheduled to kick off at the end of May with A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange.
The news of one of metal's biggest bands postponing their summer schedule comes just one day after Reading and Leeds festival was forced to cancel.
