Listen: Sick Joy drop swaggering debut record WE’RE ALL GONNA F**KING DIE
Sick Joy are following up their 2018 EP Amateurs with excellent full-length WE’RE ALL GONNA F**KING DIE.
Sick Joy have steamrolled in with a new record and we’re digging its vibe. An album that packs a punch and pokes at the themes of sex, death and sadness, it’s all sounding pretty promising. If that’s not enough to sway you to check it out, the album features contributions from rocker Jamie Lenman and vocalist Mykl Barton’s own stepdad
“For me, that title’s a positive,” says Mykl of the album name. “I realised, ‘It's going to be over one day, man. So do whatever the fuck you're gonna do, and have a good fucking time. And I don't mean just get loaded and be a dick. I mean do the things you want to do. Don't let fear decide where you're going to go. We're all going to fucking die. So get out and fucking kill it, man.'”
