See Deryck Whibley perform In Too Deep with Avril Lavigne on her Greatest Hits tour

This rules! Avril Lavigne brought out her ex-husband, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, to play In Too Deep as part of her Greatest Hits tour in Las Vegas over the weekend.

On a short break between shows on the band’s epic Tour Of The Setting Sum, Deryck Whibley has still been keeping busy – by joining Avril Lavigne onstage in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The two musicians – who were a couple of six-and-a-half years, and married for three of those – joined forces to perform the pop-punk heroes’ classic single In Too Deep at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on June 1, as part of Avril’s current Greatest Hits tour.

“Tonight we have a special guest, and he plays guitar in one of my favourite bands, and your favourite bands,” Avril said before the song. “Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for Deryck from Sum 41!”
