Rising Sacramento deathcore crew Saltwound have unleashed a brand-new single featuring Distinguisher’s Nick Chance.

The band team up with Nick for the brutal Severance, which is the second single to be taken from the trio’s newly-announced debut album The Temptation Of Pain.

“It’s my wish to separate myself from the world in a macro and micro sense,” says frontman Spencer Timmons of the track. “In my personal life and what I see going on, it’s nothing but pain, misery, and things I can’t stand. So, you want to be set free and separated from this darkness. I love music more than anything, but so much of this industry repulses me.”

Speaking about the album as a whole, meanwhile, the vocalist explains that, “With every release, we try to create something that sounds different from what we’ve done in the past. We never want to be a one-trick pony. It’s easy to find a niche and suck the well dry. We’re trying to evolve though. I think we achieved that with this album.”

The Temptation Of Pain is due out on November 1 via SharpTone Records.
