Pianos Become The Teeth unveil brooding single Skiv

The track follows Pianos Become The Teeth’s melancholic single Genevieve – both of which appear on their forthcoming record Drift.

Pianos Become The Teeth have shared their latest single and music video, Skiv, from their upcoming album, Drift.

Skiv follows the band’s slow-burning single Genevieve which melds dark melodies with nostalgic string arrangements. The band’s new single, Skiv, builds on Pianos Become The Teeth’s expert moody sound in a whole new way.

Speaking on the new track, guitarist Mike York reveals: “[Skiv] is one of my favourite songs we have ever done. It's slow and brooding and feels uncomfortably dry at times. This song feels like what a 3am night feels like to me after having too much to drink.”

Pianos Become The Teeth's upcoming album Drift is due to be released on August 26 via Epitaph Records.
