Photographer Scarlet Page celebrates 30 years of work with new London exhibition
Scarlet Page has dug out plenty of “treasures from a different time” for a special London exhibition in September, celebrating 30 years of music photography.
Scarlet Page has announced details of a new exhibition to celebrate 30 years of her incredible photography career.
The snapper – who has worked with yours truly, as well as Classic Rock, Mojo, Rolling Stone, The Guardian and more – will be sharing iconic pics of the likes of Foo Fighters, Oasis, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Lemmy and My Chemical Romance at the aptly-titled 30 exhibit in London.
Taking place at Behind The Gallery on 139 Whitfield Street, Scarlet’s upcoming showcase will open privately on September 11, with free public viewings happening from September 12 – 15 and a special Q&A at 12:30pm on September 14.
“Thirty years as a photographer in the music industry is something I am incredibly proud of,” says Scarlet. “Finding old forgotten images from shoots done long ago has been a joy, it’s like finding treasures from a different time. I am marking this anniversary by selecting my favourite 30 images and printing them as limited editions on fine art Hahnemuhle metallic paper. These are strictly limited to 10.”
Behind The Gallery’s Stephen Dallimore continues, “We are thrilled to announce our upcoming project in celebration of one of our generation’s finest photographers, Scarlet, as we mark her incredible 30th anniversary. This special collection will showcase some of Scarlet’s most iconic live, behind-the-scenes, album, and portrait shots, creating a unique experience for fans and collectors alike. We are truly honoured to be a part of this milestone celebration and cannot wait to share this unforgettable collaboration with the world.”
