Parkway Drive Donate $50,000 To Australian Bushfire Relief
Parkway Drive launch a GoFundMe page for Australian Red Cross and WIRES wildlife charity
Byron Bay bruisers Parkway Drive have donated $50,000 to the Australian bushfire relief effort.
The band have created GoFundMe page for fans around the world to pledge what they can, with Parkway making the first (rather generous) donation.
"We have started with a pledge of $50,000 AUD and encourage our fans and metal fans alike to donate what they can, however large or small of an amount, it will all help!" say the band.
"Thank you immensely for supporting these causes in these extreme circumstances."

The money raised will be split evenly between WIRES – a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation charity based in New South Wales – and Red Cross Australia.
You can make a donation here. At the time of writing, the page has raised over $57,000.
Earlier this week, Fit For An Autopsy raised over $6000 for World Wildlife Fund Australia by selling left over merchandise.
The Ghost Inside also held a fundraising event in Victoria, Australia, this week ahead of their set at UNIFY Gathering. "There’s no way we could come here at this time, see what’s going on, and not try to do our part," said the band.
Parkway Drive return to the UK and Europe this April with Hatebreed, Stick To Your Guns and Venom Prison. Get your tickets here.
