Metallica's 2014 Glastonbury Headline Set Is Streaming In Full Tonight
Watch Metallica top the bill on Glastonbury's legendary Pyramid Stage in 2014.
We're being treated to a ton of incredible Metallica live footage at the moment thanks to the band's weekly gig series, and yet even more is to come – tonight! – courtesy of the BBC.
In the absence of Glastonbury this year, the broadcasters are hosting a dedicated iPlayer channel this weekend, with James Hetfield and co.'s 2014 headline slot on the Pyramid Stage streaming from 9:30pm tonight (June 25), as well as being available to watch on-demand for 30 days afterwards.

For those who were there at the time, of course, you'll remember that Metallica faced quite the backlash when they were announced as headliners for the legendary UK event. The band went as far as to release a special 'Glastallica' T-shirt on the day, featuring comments from naysayers like: “Metallica, they’re just shite,” “Metallica aren’t in the spirit of peace-loving Glastonbury,” and, “Metallica at Glastonbury – Whoopee fucking doo.”
By the time the hit-filled 14-song set was finished, though, the metal heroes had won everyone over. “That was sensational,” drummer Lars Ulrich told the BBC. “I don't remember much of it… the energy was fantastic.”
He added that he was in attendance all weekend, enthusing, “I want to soak up every second of this thing. We would love to come back.”
Head on over to bbc.co.uk/iplayer at 9:30pm to watch Metallica headline Glastonbury – and check out their performance of One for a taste of what to expect…
