Metallica announce record-breaking All Within My Hands donations
From the Metallica Blacklist album and their 2022 Helping Hands show, an incredible $4,000,000 has been raised for the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation.
While they’ve been busy working on upcoming album 72 Seasons, Metallica have still found the time to raise millions of dollars for their All Within My Hands Foundation.
The metal legends have just announced two incredible donations thanks to their 2021 Metallica Blacklist album and 2022 Helping Hands Concert & Auction, which raised $1,000,000 and $3,000,000 respectively.
One hundred per cent of this money will go to Metallica’s foundation, which supports “workforce education, the fight against hunger, disaster relief and other critical local services”.
“The funds raised from the Helping Hands Concert & Auction will have a lasting impact on All Within My Hands’ ability to grow our Metallica Scholars Initiative, combat hunger, and aid in response to natural disasters,” says All Within My Hands’ Executive Director Peter Delgrosso. “The Los Angeles event was the largest fundraiser in our history, and we profoundly appreciate the generosity of everyone involved. We could not have achieved these results otherwise.”
Incredible work, everyone!
72 Seasons is due out on April 14, 2023 via Blackened Recordings.
