Maynard James Keenan, Zakk Wylde, Rob Trujillo and more to honour Ozzy at Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame
With a couple of weeks to go now until this year’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony, it’s just been announced who will be taking to the stage to celebrate 2024 inductee Ozzy Osbourne…
Maynard James Keenan, Zakk Wylde, Rob Trujillo and more are set to honour Ozzy Osbourne with performances at this month’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony.
With The Prince Of Darkness deservedly receiving the honour in 2024 alongside Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang and A Tribe Called Quest, it’s now been revealed who will be there representing Ozzy in Cleveland on October 19.
The Rock Hall have confirmed “a true all-star cast of incredible musicians” including the aforementioned Tool, Black Label Society and Metallica men, respectively, as well as Billy Idol, Jelly Roll, Chad Smith, Wolfgang Van Halen, Steve Stevens and Andrew Watt, as well as Jack Black who is “set to stop by” (we’re not sure in what capacity – the poster says presenting).
“It’s not a Shot In The Dark to say that this tribute is about
to be legendary,” the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame tease.
Previously, Ozzy said of his upcoming induction – following Black Sabbath’s in 2006: “My solo career has been a much larger part of my overall music career as a whole, so this feels more special. Not bad for a guy who was fired from his last band.”
