Machine Gun Kelly covered the SpongeBob SquarePants theme tune live this weekend
Watch Machine Gun Kelly (attempt to) cover the SpongeBob SquarePants theme tune during his NFL Draft performance.
Machine Gun Kelly entertained a hometown crowd in Cleveland, Ohio over the weekend, closing out the final round of the NFL Draft with an hour-long, 16-song set.
Performing in front of a reportedly COVID-19 protocol-following and fully vaccinated audience, the rapper/pop-punker unveiled songs from last year's Tickets To My Downfall album, recent Kellin Quinn collab love race, and even a random cover of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme tune.

"I'm gonna sing you guys the Barney theme song – you guys ready?" he asked the crowd. "My bad – Teletubbies! Teletubbies! Sorry." MGK then settled on the SpongeBob classic – although his lyrics weren't completely accurate…
"I can't believe you guys actually sang that with me," he joked afterwards. "That was awesome! That was not supposed to happen. Everyone gets mad at me because I'm 30 years old and watch SpongeBob on Amazon Prime all the time."
Hey, we're not judging…
He's also been busting out some pretty fine SpongeBob socks lately, too, FYI:
