Listen to the debut single from ‘nu-metalcore’ band Uncured
Stream Uncured’s first single Mask Of Sanity, with the New Jersey band promising an “intense, new experience” with their brand of ‘nu-metalcore’.
Uncured have just shared their first-ever single, Mask Of Sanity.
The New Jersey band – vocalist Rex Cox, guitarist Zak Cox, drummer ‘King Z’ Zachary King and bassist Betto Andrade – are pioneering what they describe as ‘nu-metalcore’, and you can hear exactly how that sounds right now.
“We describe our sound as ‘nu-metalcore’,” they begin. “It combines the raw energy, power and aggression of 2000s metal with the huge hooks, catchy choruses and brutal breakdowns of today’s metal scene to deliver an intense, new experience.”
And Mask Of Sanity is just the start, with Uncured set to release their debut six-track EP Warpath in 2025.
