Listen to Hot Milk’s “heartbreak anthem”, I Fell In Love With Someone That I Shouldn’t Have
The next single from The King And Queen Of Gasoline is here – and it’s an absolute banger with a powerful message.
Fresh from a massive appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Hot Milk have just shared an absolutely awesome new single: I Fell In Love With Someone That I Shouldn’t Have.
Says Jim Shaw of the meaning behind the track: "This is not a fucking love song! This is revenge. Han started writing this at 16 and we revisited it and made it into a heartbreak anthem that is not about wallowing, it’s about getting your own back. This is a song about reclaiming power from an abusive relationship and coming back twice as strong, maybe overly. They won’t fuck with you again."
The song is taken from Hot Milk's upcoming EP The King And Queen Of Gasoline, which is due out on August 5 via Music For Nations.
