Listen: Simple Plan guest on Busted’s new version of Loser Kid
Busted have recruited Canadian pop-punks Simple Plan for a new version of a song from their 2002 self-titled debut – watch the lyric video for Loser Kid 2.0 now.
Following last month’s unveiling of their big 20th anniversary celebrations, Busted have just released a brand-new collab with Simple Plan.
The pop-rock trio have teamed up with Pierre Bouvier and co. for Loser Kid 2.0, an updated version of Loser Kid from their 2002 self-titled debut album.
“Loser Kid has always been a favourite track of mine,” says Busted’s Matt Willis. “It was the end of the first album and summed up that record. ‘Wore my sister’s jeans’ is also a standout lyric from that time for me too. Still makes me laugh!”
“Loser Kid was always the sequel to our first single What I Go To School For,” adds James Bourne. “The second song in a two-part story.”
