Linkin Park on course for highest-charting UK single since 2008
Linkin Park’s previously-unreleased Meteora track Lost has landed in the Top 20 of the UK’s Official Singles Chart!
Linkin Park’s ‘new’ single Lost is set to be the band’s highest-charting since their 2008 classic What I’ve Done.
Taken from the upcoming 20th anniversary edition of Meteora, the previously-unreleased song – which features a typically powerful vocal performance from the late Chester Bennington – has gone in at Number 16 in the Official Singles Chart, and is also the highest new entry of the week.
Mike Shinoda has said that rediscovering Lost was like “finding a favourite photo you had forgotten you’d taken, like it was waiting for the right moment to reveal itself.”
“For years, fans have been asking us to release something with Chester’s voice, and I’m thrilled we’ve been able to make that happen in such a special way,” he added.
Let’s all continue streaming Lost to keep it as high up in the charts as we can!
Lost is also currently at Number Three in the Official Trending Chart Top 20.
