Les Savy Fav return with first new single in 14 years, Legendary Tippers
Les Savy Fav have unleashed a comeback single called Legendary Tippers, and they’ve got some live shows on the horizon…
New York indie rockers Les Savy Fav have just released their first new single in 14 years.
The five-piece have shared newbie Legendary Tippers to mark their comeback, ahead of some headline shows in Camden and Bristol this month, and a couple more in May along with a slot at Barcelona’s massive Primavera Festival.
Speaking about what went into the track, vocalist Tim Harrington reveals, “The guitars have this offhanded virtuoso thing going. Seth had stacked all of these semi-improvised scratch tracks into a demo. When I got them, I was immediately drawn to the manic pile-up of using them all, all at once, with zero edits. It’s like if the solo from Taxman wolfed down a bottle of Adderall.”
