Lamb Of God, Mercyful Fate and 15 more bands confirmed for Bloodstock 2022
Two out of three headliners have been announced for next year's Bloodstock – Lamb Of God and Mercyful Fate – with plenty of other bands also announced for the 2022 bill!
As Bloodstock finally returns this weekend and we continue to enjoy the fields of Catton Park, the festival is wasting no time in getting together the bill for next year's event.
King Diamond's mighty Mercyful Fate were previously confirmed to headline 2022 after pulling out of this year's bash due to the pandemic, with the frontman teasing that, “This time we are going to bring the Devil himself.” The band, meanwhile, state: "Mercyful Fate comes to Bloodstock… this will be a dangerous meeting you don’t want to miss."

They'll be joined by fellow headliners Lamb Of God, with vocalist Randy Blythe enthusing: "It’s been way too long since we’ve rocked the festivals of Merry Olde – what better way to announce our return than a headliner slot at Bloodstock? Until then, pack your wellies and stay safe England!"
One more headliner is still to be announced, but the rest of the bill is already packing out nicely, too: from UK exclusives in Dimmu Borgir, GWAR and Static-X, to Bury Tomorrow, Testament, The Black Dahlia Murder and more.
Check out the line-up so far, and grab your tickets now if you're onsite at the fest, or from Monday, August 16 at 9am otherwise.
