Knocked Loose Are Releasing A T-Shirt To Help Survivors Of Domestic Abuse
Kentucky hardcore mob Knocked Loose are supporting survivors of domestic abuse with this limited-edition shirt.
To coincide with Domestic Violence Awareness month this October, Kentucky's finest Knocked Loose have released a new limited-edition T-shirt.
The band will be donating all proceeds from the tee to help survivors of domestic abuse at their homeplace's Center for Women and Families.
"Every year, over 12 million women and men are victims of domestic violence," the band say. "For a very limited time (until 10/29) we will have these shirts for preorder on our website – a reminder that there are survivors and victims with voices that need to be heard. All proceeds will be donated to help survivors of domestic abuse at Kentucky’s Center for Women and Families in memory of Tiffany Tomerlin. #Lovedoesnthurt."

Of course, Knocked Loose have never shied away from tackling important issues, with frontman Bryan Garris unveiling his most personal lyrics to date in new album A Different Shade Of Blue.
“I think I’m always going to use lyrics as personal expression and to get things off my chest – it’s very therapeutic," he told Kerrang! earlier in the year. "Throughout the Laugh Tracks cycle, when I started doing interviews, it was something that I had to get used to – having people that I don’t know asking me very personal questions. I don’t really like talking about super-personal things in interviews, so I try to keep that within my lyrics. That made it even more personal, I guess, because it’s even more private.”
When asked about if he ever felt nervous in opening up, knowing that Knocked Loose now have more listeners than ever, he responded: “Sometimes I’m lucky enough to have somebody find me at a show and tell me that my lyrics have helped them in some way, and that means the world to me. It’s amazing, and I always hope that I can provide that service for somebody. But for me personally, it’s been a weird thing to accept, knowing that a lot of people that I don’t know are going to know all these things about me.”
