Judas Priest's Rob Halford Announces Christmas Album
Listen to Donner And Blitzen, the first track from Rob Halford's Christmas album Celestial
Shove this up your stocking! Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford has announced a heavy metal Christmas album.
Titled Celestial, the 12-track album is coming our way on October 18 and packs metallic versions of Yuletide hits including Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and O Little Town Of Bethlehem.
Celestial will actually be Rob's second Christmas-themed LP, following on from his 2009 album Halford III: Winter Songs, which featured such festive metal jams as We Three Kings, Oh Holy Night and Come All Ye Faithful.

"You can hear and feel the power of Christmas time - energy roarin’ with rockin’ reindeers haulin’!" said Rob on his Facebook page about Celestial. You can listen to his new track Donner And Blitzen below.
Celestial is billed as Rob Halford With Family & Friends, so we'll have to wait and see which members of heavy metal royalty join The Metal God to spread some Christmas cheer.
