Jenna Ortega wants to “up the horror aspect” for Wednesday season two
With the next season of Wednesday officially in the works, Jenna Ortega has teased how things might go for her character…
With Netflix confirming at the start of the year that their hugely successful Wednesday Addams series would be returning for season two, lead star Jenna Ortega has hinted at what she and the writers would like to see more of.
In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
promoting the release of Scream VI, Jenna says the team are starting to plot
how things are going to go for the follow-up to the record-breaking Wednesday, teasing
excitedly that, “Everyone’s been really cool. I think we want to up the horror
aspect a little bit, then get Wednesday out of the romantic situation and just
let her be her own individual and fight her own crime.”

Announcing season two, co-showrunners Miles Millar and Alfred Gough previously told Tudum: “We can’t wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the kooky, spooky world of Nevermore. We just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.
“It’s been incredible to create a show that’s connected with people across the world,” they added. “We’re thrilled to continue Wednesday’s torturous journey into Season 2.”
