Jackass 4 Is Officially Coming in 2021
The pain arrives on March 5, 2021.
Sadists and masochists alike, rejoice: the Jackass franchise is getting a fourth full-length feature film.
According to Deadline, movie studio Paramount has announced a release date of March 5, 2021, for the fourth installment of the dangerous stunt and skit-filled series that has already pulled in more than $355M worldwide.
No word yet on who of the original gang will be involved, but we're hoping for as complete of a reunion as possible. All three previous films were directed by co-creator Jeff Tremaine, who worked with Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jonze to develop the TV series on MTV and subsequent movies.
Earlier this year, in an exclusive interview with Loudwire, Steve-O told the publication that Jackass 4 would be entirely up to Johnny Knoxville.
"I just felt that Knoxville, for some reason, just wasn’t up for it," he said of the fourth installment during the July interview. "Then there’s the health of certain people, which I think is a concern as well. Of course, there’s our age. Maybe the ship has sailed, but I can’t say with certainty that I feel that way anymore."

Perhaps it's safe to assume that Johnny gave the go ahead, then?
We can't wait for the resulting carnage.
