Over the weekend, Jack Black made a surprise appearance at the Jonas Brothers’ Five Albums. One Night. tour, dressed as his Super Mario Bros. Movie character Bowser.
The Tenacious D legend rocked up during an intermission in the 38-song set at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on December 9 to entertain fans with his viral hit Peaches, explaining that he was there because he’s been a “huge fan” of the Jonas Brothers since he “was in the jungles of Jumanji” (different movie, but okay then).
As is his way, Jack/Bowser absolutely gave it all during the performance of the power ballad, not only wearing his spectacular glittery green suit but galloping around and hitting some unbelievably high notes. “Are you not entertained?!” he asked, before slowly sinking back down through the stage floor and leaving the pop trio to get back on with things.
