"I've never done this without Paramore": Watch Hayley Williams' excellent Tiny Desk (Home) Concert
Watch Hayley Williams debut Petals for Armor tracks live for NPR's Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series.
Hayley Williams has brought three Petals For Armor tracks to life with a wonderful performance for NPR's Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series.
The musician was joined by guitarist Julien Baker, Becca Mancari on synth/vocals, bassist Joey Howard and drummer Aaron Steele for the three-song set, which saw Hayley admit, "I've never done this without Paramore."
She played Pure Love, Taken and Dead Horse from Petals…, with all three songs taking on a new energy in the performance (the latter is particularly great as Hayley grabs the guitar after enthusing, "This has been really fun – we haven't really gotten to do this a lot in 2020…" Don't we know it, eh?).

In October, Hayley paid tribute to the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg during the Honour Her Wish online event by performing Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris. And now, it has to be said, the more Petals… songs we get to see 'live', the more excited we are for the moment Hayley actually properly returns to the stage one day.
