Here’s when Bring Me The Horizon are releasing their new single LosT
Get ready: LosT is coming, and Bring Me The Horizon have just confirmed exactly what time we’ll all get to hear it…
A brand-new Bring Me The Horizon single is on the way… and, in fact, it’s very nearly already here!
After announcing the track – which is entitled LosT – last week, today (May 3) the band have confirmed its exact release date.
Tomorrow evening (UK time) LosT will get its first play on the radio as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record at 6pm BST, before it becomes available everywhere – quite possibly with a new music video – 10 minutes later, at 6:10pm.
Bring Me have been heavily teasing the track since its announcement, with plenty of images and stills pointing to a hospital vibe – particularly with the lyrics we’ve already heard: ‘Stupid medicine / Not doing anything.’
Speaking to Kerrang! last year about the follow-up to Post Human: Survival Horror, frontman Oli Sykes said of how things were shaping up, and the pressure the band were putting on themselves: “It’s not healthy to always be like, ‘We’ve got to raise the bar!’ But at the same time we have to, especially when it feels like there’s more eyes on us than ever. Sometimes we think, ‘Oh, the best thing to do now is to put out a big, stock rock song,’ when all eyes are on you, something digestible that anyone can listen to, but it’s not in our hearts.
“We want to be progressive; we want to be weird; we don’t want to be a regular band.”
