Here's The Killers' Mr. Brightside In The Style Of blink-182
This is what it would sound like if blink-182 had originally written The Killers' Mr. Brightside.
You may remember, back in September last year, an absolutely ace version of Green Day's American Idiot was covered online – in the style of blink-182. Now, the musician behind that genius mash-up, SugarpillCovers, has delivered yet another great blink-themed number.
This time, the YouTuber has reworked The Killers' ginormous 2004 hit single Mr. Brightside, and given the song a pop-punk undercurrent beneath Brandon Flowers' unmistakable vocals.

It's a great choice to give a fresh spin, all things considered. Mr. Brightside remains one of the biggest hits on the planet, still being bought and streamed every single week. In fact, before late 2018, it was the UK's most-streamed pre-2010 song, and had been in the Top 100 of the UK Singles Chart for an incredible 200 weeks.

In blink-182 news, bassist Mark Hoppus recently encouraged fans to self-quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic, taking the very same precautionary steps himself.
“This whole thing is scary and unknown," he said. "We have family members who are older and have compromised immune systems. We have dear friends with compromised immune systems. There are people we’ve never met who would not be able to fight the virus, so we are doing our part to slow the spread. The best possible outcome is that nothing happens, which will seem like we vastly overreacted, which is paradoxical, but necessary. Do the best you can, and take care of each other.”
