Here's how Cliff Burton Day is being celebrated on February 10
Celebrations have been announced for what would have been late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton's 59th birthday.
The life of Metallica legend Cliff Burton is being celebrated tomorrow – February 10 – on what would have been his 59th birthday.
The bass titan tragically lost his life in a bus crash at just 24 years old, but his achievements in that time are being honoured on the annual Cliff Burton Day – which, this time around, will consist of an online event on Twitch.
Kicking off at 7pm PST (which is 3am the following morning UK time), the virtual coming together will be hosted by film director Nicholas Gomez and will feature Spastik Children's Fred Cotton and James McDaniel, ’Tallica roadie/Metal Church guitarist John Marshall, Vio-lence's Sean Killian, and Metal Maria – formerly of Megaforce Records (which put out the band's first two albums: 1983 debut Kill ’Em All and 1984 follow-up Ride The Lightning).
