Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett makes surprise appearance at London’s 100 Club

Before Foo Fighters headline the London Stadium later today, guitarist Chris Shiflett made a surprise appearance with Sam Palladio at the much, much more intimate 100 Club last night…

Very soon, Foo Fighters will be playing to approximately 80,000 people at the London Stadium. But last night (June 19), the band’s Chris Shiflett treated fans to a much more intimate appearance at the capital’s iconic 100 Club.

The guitarist surprised gig-goers attending actor/singer-songwriter Sam Palladio’s headline show to perform their 2024 collab Tennessee (taken from Sam’s upcoming debut album, due out on September 13). Sam has since described the whole thing as a “joy”, thoroughly enjoying the live debut of this particular track.

“This was the first time we’ve ever played Tennessee live and Chris brought his immense talent and rock’n’roll spirit to the 100 Club,” says Sam. “I was fan-boying the whole time. It all came together at the last minute which kind of makes it all the more exciting and it felt like really special performance.

“Chris joked after song, ‘Let’s take it on the road.’ My response: ‘Any time, dude!’”

Awesome stuff. Check it out below.
