Fit For An Autopsy Raise Over $6000 For Australian Wildlife Charity
Fit For An Autopsy are raising money for WWF Australia through merch sales
New Jersey brutes Fit For An Autopsy have launched a campaign to raise money for World Wildlife Fund Australia in the wake of the wildfires that have claimed the lives of countless animals and destroyed their natural habitat.
According to the WWF Australia website: "So far, more than 6 million hectares of Australian land has been burned. That’s more than the Amazon and Californian fires combined.
"It’s been estimated that half a billion animals have been killed just in New South Wales. This includes thousands of koalas and other iconic species such as kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras, cockatoos and honeyeaters burnt alive, and many thousands more injured and homeless."
To help raise money for the relief effort, Fit For An Autopsy are selling over nine years' worth of merchandise at heavily discounted prices.

Posting on Facebook, the band say: "We went through our storage space and counted every piece of leftover tour merch we’ve amassed over the last 9 years, all the way back to some original designs. Everything is heavily discounted in our store. $5 for ALL small tees, $10 shirts, $20 hoodies etc.
"100% of the profits from these items will be directly donated to the World Wildlife Fund Australia, which will help restore areas damaged by the fires.
"We’ll throw in free shirts of your size with EVERY order while supplies last, help us blow this stuff out and raise some money."
So far, Fit For An Autopsy have raised over $6000 for WWF Australia. It looks like all of the merch has now sold out, but you can donate here.
Tomorrow (Wednesday January 8), The Ghost Inside are holding a fundraising event at the UNFD offices in Australia to raise money for the relief effort.
