Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz debuts new Apple radio show, Loud And Sad
Pete Wentz describes Loud And Sad Radio as "somewhere in the realm of the TV show Curb Your Enthusiasm meets the movie Drive".
Fall Out Boy bassist and lyricist Pete Wentz has launched a new show on Apple Music: Loud And Sad Radio.
The musician's new programme will air every Monday on Apple Music Hits, and will feature "a weekly collection of music and ideas that represents Pete, including movies, emo, rap, punk rock, classic rock, sneakers, bad jokes, dad jokes, Twitter ephemera, and beyond" (which sounds very much on brand for the FOB man).
He explains of the show's premise: "You’ve really got to think about this as moments meeting from divergent courses, somewhere in the realm of the TV show Curb Your Enthusiasm meets the movie Drive. And this is what Loud And Sad Radio is… It doesn't have to be loud and it doesn't have to be sad, but there's some things that just have that vibe. Loud And Sad is a vibe to me."

In episode one Pete will be spinning music by everyone from Paramore and Metallica to The Weeknd and Artic Monkeys, as well as sharing stories about Fall Out Boy's Thnks Fr Th Mmrs music video starring Kim Kardashian, who the best Batman is, and "the undeniable power" of Aerosmith’s I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing. Basically, it sounds like it's pretty much going to have something for everyone.
