Dead Pony announce winter headline tour
Dead Pony have announced a big headline run in December, playing seven shows across England in celebration of this year’s debut album IGNORE THIS.
Dead Pony are set to cap off what has already been a huge year for the band with a winter headline tour.
The band will be hitting the road in December to celebrate 2024 and all things IGNORE THIS, playing dates in Sheffield, Nottingham, London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Leeds.
Speaking about Dead Pony’s mission statement and all their success so far, vocalist Anna Shields enthuses that, “It’s about making music that appeals to people like us. A lot of things have changed for us over the last few years, but it’s arguably even more powerful seeing how we’ve stayed the same.
“That’s solidified my understanding of who our fans are: people who like good music, who aren’t in too much of a hurry to pigeonhole bands into categories, who don’t give a fuck about following trends. When I look into the crowd at our shows, I see people who remind me of myself as a teenager. Those are the people this music is for: the misfits who struggle to fit in anywhere else…”
