Dave Grohl And 10-Year-Old Nandi Bushell Just Had An Epic Drum Battle
Watch Foo Fighters legend Dave Grohl accept 10-year-old Nandi Bushell's drum-off request.
As well as being one of the best frontman and drummers on the planet, Dave Grohl is also one hell of a good sport, dutifully accepting 10-year-old Nandi Bushell's recent online call for a drum battle.
After the young musician shared an awesome cover of Foo Fighters' iconic single Everlong with the message, "Mr. Grohl, I would love to have a drum battle with you," Dave not only responded by playing to The Colour And The Shape hit, but also with a challenge of his own…

"I haven't played that song since the day I've recorded it in 1997," he says at the start of the video, after jamming along to Everlong. "Nandi, in the last week, I've gotten at least 100 texts from people all over the world saying, 'This girl is challenging you to a drum-off. What are you going to do?'
"You're an incredible drummer," Dave continues. "And I'm really flattered that you've picked some of my songs to do for your videos and you've done them all perfectly."
Then, sat at his 11-year-old daughter Harper's drum kit, he challenges Nandi to tackle Dead End Friends by supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, adding: "Now the ball is on your court."

Nandi then responded with an adorable reaction video, commenting, "This is unreal! I can’t believe [Dave] actually accepted my drum battle! This is the best day ever!!! Challenge Accepted Mr Grohl, now it’s my turn to learn Dead End Friends by Them Crooked Vultures! I am going to checkmate this one too! Thank you so much Dave for accepting and Harper for lending your Dad the kit! This is so so so awesome!"
