Contestant Makes Tom DeLonge Cake In First Episode Of The Great British Bake Off
Tom DeLonge was immortalised in cake form during last night's Great British Bake Off.

Last night, beloved UK baking show The Great British Bake Off returned, providing a welcome distraction from all the awfulness in the world. And not only was the first episode of series 11 a total delight courtesy of Cake Week, it also featured a surprise cameo from a certain pop-punk hero… sort of.
After this year's contestants were asked to kick off their Bake Off adventure with a showstopper in the form of a 3D bust of their hero, Dave from Hampshire gave it his best shot to make Angels & Airwaves / former blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge out of sponge. His Three Flavours Of Tom DeLonge effort consisted of a strawberry and mint flavoured cake with chocolate buttercream, and though it didn't earn him the title of Star Baker (spoiler alert), it did provide the internet with a lot of entertainment for the evening.
Ahem, may we point your attention to this fine pun as an example…

Happily, Tom even saw the cake himself, and joked that, "When I was younger, and needed the money, I did a few hundred adult films. This looks EXACTLY like me at the time. EXACTLY."
*Shudders…*

Unsurprisingly, Twitter was on fine form following the episode…
